Another lovely evening at the Rajdani, felt very safe as they have installed ornate screens between tables and a sanatiser station on entry. Enjoyed a fantastic curry and marvellous service from Rob, Jay and the team. Would highly recommend a visit, you definitely will have a great experience and great food.
Wonderful visit last night, friendly service, ice cold Kingfisher and of course a marvellous curry. Glad to see the Rajdani has their full menu available unlike some other restaurants, we have been too since lockdown. They are back serving top food, top atmosphere and a great night out.
Can highly recommend a visit for couples, friends and family, you won’t be disappointed. Looking forward to going back soon Diane from Kent.
We live in West Kingsdown and have eaten at the Rajdani many times. So, it was good to go back there on Saturday evening after lockdown. We went with some very good friends who we hadn’t seen for months because of the Covid-19 scare and therefore it was a special evening on 2 fronts. To meet up with old friends and enjoy a great meal at our favorite Indian restaurant.
We were greeted at the door by Rob, the proprietor, who was, as always, extremely polite, pleasant & welcoming to all his customers.
It was good to see in these strange times with the Covid-19 virus hanging over our shoulders that all the staff wore full plastic facial masks. They had also installed screens on the bar area to act as additional protection.
I also noted that there had been some refurbishment done especially with respect to the seating and this has now made the interior even more welcoming.
But we were there for the great food and as usual we were not disappointed. We had poppadoms to start, all 4 of us had starter and then main courses with a number of side dishes. All this was washed done with Pinot Grigot, Mateus Rose and Kingfisher & Cobra beers. The evening was finished with a variety of coffees.
As is our want, we were the last to leave the restaurant and were certainly not pressured to leave.
Another great evening and food in this very comfortable and welcoming restaurant. I should also mention that like Rob, all the staff are very polite and helpful.
If you haven’t been yet give a try you won’t be disappointed.
Been to the Rajdani many times over the years and it never fails to disappoint. Very friendly and outgoing staff, who make you feel very welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Great service and very good value for money.
Would definitely recommend to all who are in the area and those who want a good night out.
We have been to the Raj on many occasions and never been disappointed, the food is always of a high quality and service is always first class.
I had my wife’s surprise 40th Birthday meal there for 50 people on a Friday night and it was a fantastic night, food, service and entertainment were excellent, Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone
I have been here several times, amazing food and amazing service. Waiter Ali served me and my partner and he was amazing, could not be faulted. All staff are amazing. Very happy.
Picked up a takeaway from here while we were visiting Brands Hatch love the fact they gave us a drink while we waited. Cheers ? Meant to say the food was pretty god damn good too 🙂
Visited here for Family Birthday Celebration, lovely evening , great food and nice ambiance. Vegatable Curry was excellent. One suggestion would be when there is a large group ( we were 13) a drink on the house at the end of the meal ( as most Chinese Restaurants offer) would have been a nice gesture.
